Release of PeopleConnect 2.3 – All locations on a world map
The new “Locations” feature has been integrated into the PeopleConnect 2.3 version. It enables a new way of visualizing all contacts and identities on a world map.

Locations – Displaying locations and contacts with geodata
With “Locations” in PeopleConnect 2.3, users can view all contacts and location information on a world map. It makes using PeopleConnect much more informative because it provides a good overview of where your contacts are located.
Clicking on a pin opens a bar with all the contacts stored at that location.
Locations is available in the menu bar of the PeopleConnect web application.
Technically, the backend service my-IAM RealIdentity evaluates the identities based on the address data stored for them. The system transfers the geodata of the address information to the map for visualization.
Further optimizations in PeopleConnect 2.3
In the latest version 2.3, a major change has been made to the backend of the application, which has resulted in a noticeable improvement in performance. Packages and frameworks have also been updated.
