  • The marketing manager is allowed to change the phone numbers of members of the marketing department
  • User is in the “Finance” department and can only see contacts in “Finance”
  • Only employees in the HR department have access to certain information, e.g. employee number or date of birth.

Authorizations can be assigned based on roles and attributes.

Use groups as distribution lists

In addition to the identity directory, PeopleConnect offers the display of all Entra groups and memberships. It is possible to search for all groups in Entra/M365.

In the detailed view of the group, the owners, group members and other important information are displayed. The visibility of the group information is fully or restrictedly available depending on the authorization.

For quick contact with all members, the M365 groups can be used as a distribution list.

The downloaded vcf file can be imported into Outlook and transferred to the personal address book. This makes it possible to quickly save and exchange contact information.

One of the strengths of PeopleConnect is the detailed search with the contains method, which achieves the best possible results. It sifts through all the data and ensures that the search text is covered to the maximum.
