Release of PeopleConnect 2.1 – Display of Entra groups and memberships
my-IAM PeopleConnect 2.1 now includes the display of groups and group memberships. Thanks to special filtering between “identities” and “groups”, the search results are displayed separately. In addition, contacts can be exported via vCards and shared more easily.

Display of groups and memberships
In the new release of PeopleConnect 2.1, M365 groups are now also integrated. It is possible to search for all groups in Entra/M365.
In addition, the search results are now filtered by “Identity” or “Group”. If a user enters a search term, they can choose between these two options.
The group display is structured similarly to the contact data display and is available in a tile view. If you open a group, the owners, group members and important information about the group are displayed. The visibility of the group information is available in full or limited depending on the authorization.
Export important company contacts as a vCard
Another new feature in PeopleConnect 2.1 is the ability to download a contact as a vCard (electronic business card). When opening a contact, the small vCard icon becomes visible and is available for exporting the identity data.
The downloaded file can be imported into Outlook and transferred to the personal address book or sent to another person. This makes it possible to quickly save and exchange contact information.
Further optimizations
In the latest version, an extensive client upgrade was carried out for stable and secure interfaces. Further minor bug fixes, performance improvements and updates have been carried out.
