Share contacts with certain people only
The new “DataAccess” configuration provides filters that restrict which contacts are displayed to the logged-in user. The restriction can be made either per contact object type or even more granular on the attributes of a contact.
Dynamic filters are also possible, which refer to the values of the logged-in user.
User is in the “Finance” department and can only see contacts in “Finance”.
In some companies, it is important that certain contacts are not visible to everyone. With the “DataAccess” settings, restricted data access is now easy to implement.
New link button in the user profile
my-IAM PeopleConnect 1.5 has a new control called “LinkButton”. This can be used to call up an external link, for example to open the user profile in another system.
This link must exist as an attribute on the contact. Accordingly, it can be an individual link for each contact.
Improved availability and reliability
The PeopleConnect service has been reorganised internally to improve performance and availability. PeopleConnect now processes various internal processes independently of each other, such as contact import via the API and the associated data processing.
Further improvements
Operation and monitoring have also been optimized in order to provide a stable and secure service. In addition, various improvements have been made based on customer feedback.
